Join McPherson Middle School teachers, Jackie Bohnenblust and Jenny Vernon as they share their journey through the Kansans Can Redesign process and the honor of being named a “School of Excellence” by the KSDE Civic Advocacy Network. The journey they will share include the “GOOD” of last year’s application highlights, the “BAD” of when civic engagement goes awry, and the “UGLY” that involves student walkouts, BOE meetings, and how to deal with Fact vs Fake news in their school and community.
