Civic engagement hinges on our ability to connect and empathize with our world. One of the best ways to do this is to expose students to literature from an exciting and emerging genre: activist literature. In this session, you will learn about activist literature. You will learn ways to integrate it into the classroom as well as leading authors and popular titles.
